ERFELEK TATLICA WATERFALLS The Eastern Black Sea Region is one of our country's unique and rugged areas, distinguished by its geography and natural beauty. Thanks to these natural wonders, the region has become a favorite destination for nature lovers and photographers alike. My team and I set out from Trabzon early in the morning. After a six-hour journey, we arrived at the waterfalls, only to find the gates closed. We were in a remote, desolate area—wild bear country. While waiting for the staff to arrive, we prepared our gear, took the necessary safety precautions for working in the stream, and changed into our field clothes. Finally, the staff arrived. Over the course of two days, we photographed nearly twenty waterfalls. At night, we enjoyed long conversations about photography around the campfire, accompanied by plenty of tea.
