Anzak Cove
Description
Anzac Cove is a small, 600-meter-long cove of historical and spiritual significance located on the Gallipoli Peninsula in the Eceabat district of Çanakkale. It earned a place in world history when troops from the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) landed there on the morning of April 25, 1915, during the Gallipoli Campaign of World War I. Flanked to the north by the steep hills of Arıburnu, this stretch of coastline became the main base and logistics hub for Anzac forces following the landing.
